Aviation and Survival Support recently entered a partnership agreement with the Swedish company C2 Vertical Safety, and has now won its first major contract together — a new framework agreement with the Norwegian Armed Forces worth NOK 35 million.
The agreement covers the supply of fall-protection equipment, access and work-positioning systems, and personal rescue and evacuation equipment. It runs for two years, with an option for a further two.
C2 — short for Climbing Competence — was established in 2000 and represents several well-known brands in Sweden, including Petzl, Skylotec, ISC, IKAR, Checkmate, Beal and Bollé Safety. Its training centre, opened in 2008, is unique in the Nordics.
