Our operations are conducted in accordance with recognized quality management standards, while our manufacturers and supply chain partners maintain the certifications, approvals, and regulatory authorizations required for their respective products and services. 

The certifications, approvals, and quality frameworks outlined below reflect the standards we hold ourselves to and the requirements we expect our partners throughout the supply chain to meet.

Our Quality Management System complies with NS-EN 9120:2018 / ISO 9001:2015, the internationally recognized quality management standard for aerospace, aviation, and defence distributors. 
The standard defines stringent requirements for quality management, traceability, supplier oversight, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. By operating in accordance with these principles, we ensure that products, services, and support are delivered with a consistent focus on quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction..

Aerospace, Aviation and Defence distributors

Internationally recognized quality standards for aerospace, aviation and defence distributors. Certification demonstrates a commitment to quality, traceability, regulatory compliance, and supply chain integrity, ensuring products are managed and delivered in accordance with the stringent requirements of the aviation and defence industries.

DAOS

Design Approved Organization Scheme

A UK Ministry of Defence approval framework that recognizes organizations capable of designing and modifying military aviation equipment and systems. The scheme demonstrates compliance with stringent requirements for airworthiness, safety, technical competence, and regulatory oversight within defence aviation.

SOLAS

Marine safety equipment

Safety of Life at Sea convention — required for survival gear carried on commercial vessels.

EMAR

European Military Airworthiness Requirements;

A common European framework for military airworthiness, establishing standardized requirements for certification, maintenance, safety, and continuing airworthiness. The framework promotes regulatory compliance, interoperability, and operational readiness across the European defence aviation community.

MANUFACTURER/VENDOR APPROVALS

Approvals

Approvals that recognize organizations authorized to distribute, support, maintain, or service specific products and systems. These approvals demonstrate product-specific expertise, access to approved technical data, and compliance with the manufacturer’s quality and support requirements. 

Responsible Business Conduct

Aviation and Survival Support AS is committed to responsible business conduct and respect for human rights in our own operations and throughout our supply chain. 

We conduct risk-based human rights and labour due diligence in accordance with:

• The UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights 
• The OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct

 Our due diligence process includes: 

• Risk assessment of suppliers and supply chain exposure
• Prioritisation of salient risks
• Implementation of mitigation measures
• Monitoring and follow-up
• Corrective actions where necessary

Suppliers are required to comply with our Responsible Business Conduct Policy and to communicate equivalent requirements within their own supply chains.
