Contract signed with the Norwegian Armed Forces for F-35 deliveries

In partnership with Survitec Aerospace & Defence UK, Aviation and Survival Support has signed a framework agreement with the Norwegian Armed Forces for the development and delivery of pilot garments for the new F-35 fighter aircraft.

The agreement covers upgrading and certifying existing F-16 pilot garments to F-35 versions to meet national operational requirements — defined as the Full Coverage Anti-G Trouser (FCAGT) and the Cold Weather Immersion Garment (CWI). A-SS holds the Norwegian agency for this equipment and is the only supplier with the necessary access to documentation, tooling and the experience to certify and adapt the FCAGT and CWI for F-35 pilots.

The contract runs for seven years with an option for a further three.
